D. MacDowell Blue was born a Sagittarius in the Year of the Boar. Make of that what you will. He won a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of West Florida, then attended the National Shakespeare Conservatory in New York City. He has written multiple plays and is now writing his first (hopefully not his last) novel, titled DEEP AS BLOOD. Yes, it is a vampire tale. Another name by which he is known is "Zahir" both online and in the world of middle eastern dance, in which he participates. Mr. Blue resides in Los Angeles. He is a widower and still grieves every day for his beautiful Colleen.
